Tree sap, pollen and bird droppings are taking the shine out of my paint. I need help!

Since pollen, sap and bird droppings are organic, they will damage your paints clear coat if not removed within a short period of time.

If you park your vehicle in an area that birds frequent you will inevitably become a target. Be sure to wash your paint if you get hit!

Trees generally drop sap or experience what is commonly called “pitch rain” in the spring or early summer months. The fix for sap or pitch is not quite so simple. If you are unfortunate enough to have your vehicle contaminated while parked in the path of falling pitch or sap, your paint will need to be quickly tended to.

Bird droppings and tree sap will quickly begin to eat away at the protective clear coat on your paint. If the organic matter is left too long, your paint will suffer the consequences.

The good news is that clear coat damage from droppings or sap is normally reversible. It takes time and skill to bring damaged clear coat back to life but the results are amazing.

Feel free to drop by and have your vehicles paint condition evaluated by our professional staff.
